What shipping method do you use?

We ship via United States Postal Service (USPS) and United Parcel Service (UPS).  You will have the ability to choose your option during the checkout process.

• Can you expedite my shipment? If so how much will it cost?

Yes.  You will have the option at checkout for expedited shipping.  

If I’m returning a book, where do I send it?

Please call us (800-727-3327) and let us know that you are interested in returning merchandise to us. We will go over our return procedure with you so we can quickly process your return.  We will have you return the merchandise to:

• Where do I enter my tax exempt number?

CA Customers – Please call us (800) 727-3327
All other States – Please type your exempt number into the notes section of your order.

• Are the books on my order in stock?

We generally keep a plentiful stock of all products.  However, if a product you ordered is not in stock, our customer service staff will immediately contact you to inform you of the non-stock item and discuss how quickly we can get it to you.  Even non-stock items can be shipped direct to you within a few days.

• How long will it take for me to receive my order?

If the products you purchased are in stock, it can usually take 1-7 days to arrive at your destination. We are shipping from Southern California so it is different for everyone. USPS estimates 1-5 days and UPS is by region. Refer to UPS’s shipping chart for a better idea; enter 90638 for “shipped from”: http://www.ups.com/maps

Access codes for eBooks generally take 24 hours to process, M-F.  We will email your access code as soon as we receive it from the publisher.

• Can I change my username/password?

You may change your password at any time, just click on account details

• How can I get a copy of my receipt?

If you did not receive a copy of your receipt in your package or email, and/or you would simply like another copy, please call or email customer service at (800) 727-3327 or customerservice@firebooks.com

• Do you offer discounts when purchasing multiple books?

Yes, absolutely! Please contact Ken Hamer at 714-576-7051 or email him at ken@firebooks.com for quotes and pricing on larger orders.

• How do I get a quote?

Please contact Ken Hamer at 714-576-7051 or email him at ken@firebooks.com.  He will usually get a quote to you same day.

• Do you buy back used books?

No we do not.

• Do you ship internationally?

• What about Alaska, Hawaii, and other US Territories outside the Continental US?

• Can I use a PO Box as a shipping address?

Definitely! We will always ship your order Priority Mail to a PO Box. If you would like your order shipped via UPS you will need to provide a physical address due to UPS being unable to deliver to post offices boxes.

• I am ordering for my department. Can I be billed?

Absolutely, we accept purchase orders and will bill your department.  Please enter your PO # during the check out process.

• How do I know if I am purchasing the most current edition of my book?

We provide as much information about the titles we carry as possible; this includes noting when a new edition is available. We regularly update our catalog with current product lists from all major publishers in the Fire/EMS industry.  If for any reason you purchase an older edition and need the newer edition we will gladly complete an exchange.

• What is your return policy?

We accept all sorts of returns.  If the product is received by us in new condition you will receive a total refund less shipping costs.  If the product has been used or damaged upon arrival to our warehouse a restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.  If your order is received damaged or if there is another error on our end we will be happy to refund your order in full or ship another item to you same day.  Please contact us in order to receive authorization for your return prior to sending us the product(s).

eBooks cannot be returned for a refund.  However, you may exchange your eBook within 7 calendar days of receiving the activation code as long as the activation code has not been used.  A $5 fee applies for each eBook exchanged.

• How do I get my books shipped to a different address?

When you check out, you’ll have the opportunity to add a shipping address. It’s that easy!
